	CONGRATULATIONS TO ROLLANDE BRUUN, WINNER OF A 2007 SEASON MEMBERSHIP TO THE TENNIS CLUB WEST OTTAWA OPEN HOUSE. Sunday May 5 - Tennis Club West Ottawa - Brittania Everyone had a great time at the annual Tennis Club West Ottawa Open House and no one more so than Rolande Bruun who won the grand prize raffle for a 2007 season membership. Lots were on hand for the fun round robin competition, including Tommy & Lefebvre's Matt Padry who "represented" on the pristine clay courts. Returning members and brand new tennis enthusiasts exchanged pleasantries and the odd volley or three in the process. Instructors were on hand to introduce tennis newbies to the sport. Lots of prizes and great food in between the on court fun make for a very busy and rewarding day for everyone. A great big thanks to the many volunteers and organizers who made this years Open House the best one yet! 	TOMMY & LEFEBVRE TEAMS WITH NATIONAL TENNIS SCHOOL AND HEAD TENNIS TO OFFER DAY CAMPS FOR CHILDREN THIS SUMMER. For over 20 years the NTS has taught tennis to over 65,000 children in the National Capital Region. Emphasis is placed on fun, fitness and friendship with the goal of gaining tennis skills and making tennis a "sport for life". During the camp young athletes are "granted citizenship" in a nation at the start of the week and will participate in fun, group-oriented competition throughout the week. 3-4 hours/day of tennis skill development (forehand, backhand, serve, volley and smash) and by the end of week, all campers will compete in a singles and doubles tennis tournament. Tennis instruction takes place in the morning hours by Tennis Canada Certified Instructors (ratio 8:1). Racquets provided if necessary. Other activities include a daily swim, tennis ball golf, trivia contests, Capture the Flag, fun Olympics, team building exercises, world cup soccer, daily theme days, road hockey, basketball, tennis baseball, and much more.
